When you think of Spring lots of green and beautiful pastel colors come to mind. Easter decor is full of pinks, lavender, robins egg blue; however when it come to tulips and other plants that flower from bulb most are bright punches of color.

I planted some tulips which bloomed recently and POW they are a punch of color in my flower bed. These double tulips are “lipstick red”. I like the punch in color when the rest of my plants are just starting to throw off winter and grow.

The bright colors are cheerful as Spring in its moodiness can sometimes be dreary.
