April showers bring May flowers.
The simple saying, I remember from my childhood. When we complained about spring rain, my mother would always repeat this.
Funny enough I live in a high desert so we have always had very little rain, however we would get a day or two of rainy day. As I look back on the impatience of youth it makes me laugh. Most people have a lot more rain to contend with than we do here in Utah. It is an arid climate which requires irrigation.
However, this year is unusually dry. So instead of saying to soothe myself on a rainy day I say this as a prayer.
