Bakery Style Chocolate Chip Cookies

These cookies are cakey deliciousness for those times when you want a gourmet tasting cookie.


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.


1 1/2 cups Butter, softened

1 1/2 cups Granulated Sugar

4 Eggs

1 teaspoon Salt

1 1/2 teaspoons Baking Powder

1 teaspoon Baking Soda

4 teaspoons Vanilla

4 cups Flour

1 12 ounce bag of Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips

1/4 of a 12 ounce bag of Dark Chocolate Chunks


Cream the butter and sugar together. Add the eggs on at a time into the butter and sugar mixture. scrap the side of the mixer to incorporate completely.

Add the salt, baking soda, baking powder, and Vanilla and mix. Stir in the flour a cup at a time. Complete by folding in chocolate chips.


Spoon onto cookie sheets in rounded mounds.

Bake for 13-15 minutes until tops begin to turn golden brown.
