Black Bean Hummus

This is a black bean dip with lots of flavor. It is great with chips, pita bread, veggie, the sky is the limit.


1 15 oz can Black Beans, drained and rinsed

1 tablespoon Olive Oil

1/2 teaspoon Lemon juice

1 4.5 oz can Diced Green Chiles

1/2 teaspoon Garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Cumin

1/2 teaspoon Paprika

1/4 teaspoon fresh Ground Pepper

1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder

A pinch of Salt

1/4 cup Salsa


Place the drained and rinsed beans into a food processor or blender. Add the olive oil and you blend and pulse along with the lemon juice. As the beans start to break up stop blending and add the additional ingredients along with seasonings. Finish blending and pulsing until smooth.


Serve with chips, vegetables, bread or use as a spread.
