Cast Iron cooked pancakes

Nothing beats a cast iron cooked pancake. It gives it a special fluffy, yet crispy texture. Next time you cook your pancakes try them in cast iron.

I do a couple tweaks to my pancakes from mix.

1 cup whipping cream

1 cup water

whip until starts to hold bubbles

2 cups pancake mix

Melt butter in pan and drop mix into hot pan. Batter will set and bubbles will pop and not fill in the holes. When you see holes flip the pan cake. Serve hot with syrup, butter, and eggs.

Makes 10 - 12
