At Thanksgiving we have extra Maple sweetened Orange Cranberry Sauce. As it finishes cooking I pull out a pint jar and store it for Christmas. It stores like a jam in the fridge and we use it on toast, pancakes etc. It also makes a great easy dip to go along with meat and cheese trays.
1 cup of Cranberry Sauce
1 8 oz package of Cream Cheese
Either make cranberry sauce or re-heat pre-made sauce in a pan. Heat it up but do not boil. While heating the cranberry sauce place the 8 oz of cream cheese on a plate. Remove from heat and pour over the cream cheese.
Serve with crackers.
