This time of year bring snow, ice, hail, and fog. The moisture and freezing temperatures create crystals. It is neat to wake up and see the crystals which are covering plants due to the fog and freezing temperatures creating ice crystals.
I took these pictures several years ago but they are some of my favorite. These crystals are on pine boughs and rose hips.
