This meal is a change up of the same old meat sauce with Spaghetti. I decided to make meatballs tonight. Meatballs give you a concentrated flavor versus a meat sauce that blends the meat flavor into one note through the sauce.
1 lb Ground Beef
1 medium Onion, diced and caramelized
1/2 teaspoon Garlic, minced
1 Egg
2 peices of Bread, toasted and torn into small pieces
1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/2 teaspoon Greek Seasoning
4 leaves fresh Basil, chopped
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Dice and caramelize the Onion in a skillet with butter. In a bowl add meat, seasoning, egg, and bread crumbs. Mix together until evenly distributed.
Roll bread into 1 inch balls and place on an aluminum foil covered cookie sheet. Bake for 22 to 25 Minutes.
Remove from cookie sheet and add to spaghetti and sauce.
