Late Summer Wildflowers

Writer: wildflowersandcastironwildflowersandcastiron

Today we went for a ride and discovered beautiful landscapes accented by fields and bunches of wildflowers. We saw Rose Heath, Mariposa Lily, Fleabane, Sticky Purple Geranium, Queen Anne’s Lace, Gumweed, Lupin, Coneflower, Ragwort, Yarrow, Indian Paintbrush, Vetch, Curly Dock, the list goes on and on. Whether you walk, hike, bike, ATV, jeep, drive a vehicle slow down and look around. You can find a way to discover the landscape and wildflowers around you. They are not labeled in order. I love to collect Curly Dock aka Indian Tobacco in the proper areas to add to my outdoor pots and create winter bouquet. Take sometime and try and match them.
