Maple Sweetened Cranberry Orange Sauce

Instead of using a canned cranberry sauce try this sweet flavorful sauce which does not come to your table in the shape of a can. It has a festive flavor and pairs with turkey or tastes great as a sauce on Skillet French Toast for a day after brunch.


16 ounces of Cranberries

1 orange zested and juiced

1 cup Maple syrup

1/4 cup Sugar

1 stick Cinnamon


Put all ingredients in a sauce pan. Simmer on medium heat until cranberries burst and sauce thickens. 15 to 20 minutes Cool and remove cinnamon stick before serving.
