Puff pastry to Sugared Puff Twists; Make your guests feel like you spent hours cooking

I always keep puffed pastry sheets in the freezer. They can be purchased at your local grocery store from the freezer section.

To make a fast easy dessert take puff pastry and thaw it.


On parchment paper sprinkle with 1/2 cup of Demerara sugar. Rub down the pastry with water. Turn over and rub down with water then sprinkle with sugar. Use a rolling pin across the sheet to push the sugar into the dough.

Either roll from each edge and cut into 10 pieces. Smash and place on parchment covered baking sheet.

Cut Into six even strips. Twist and place on parchment covered baking sheet.

Bake 400 degrees for 15 to 18 minutes. Only cook one sheet at a time.


Add sugared pastry to bowl of ice cream, pudding, berries, whip cream, or eat them alone.
