Turtle Brownies

These are super rich and gooey. They make a decadent treat. Be careful they are addicting!!


Shopping List

Butter

Sugar

Salt

Baking Soda

Flour

Eggs

Vanilla

Dutch Cocoa

Dark Chocolate Chips

Milk Chocolate Chips

Pecan

Premade Caramel, wrapped

Evaporated Milk


Recipe Caramel Turtle Brownie


2 sticks Butter

2 cups Sugar

4 Eggs

1 Tablespoon Vanilla

1 cup Dutch Cocoa

1/2 cup Dark Chocolate Chip

1/2 Teaspoon Salt

1 Teaspoon Baking Soda

1 1/2 cups Flour

2 cups Milk Chocolate Chips

1 cup Pecans

60 Caramels (unwrapped)

1/2 cup Evaporated Milk


Add Flour, Salt, Baking Soda and Cocoa in a bowl. Mix and set aside. In a pot, melt butter and sugar until boiling. Remove from heat. At the same time in another pot stir 60 caramels and 1/2 cup of Evaporated Milk until smooth. Remove from heat. Add 1/2 cup of Dark Chocolate chips into butter/sugar mixture stir until melted. Once melted add to the flour mixture and stir. Add eggs and vanilla and stir until smooth.


Grease a 9X9 pan. Place half of the brownie batter in a pan. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of pecans and 1 cup of milk chocolate chips on top of brownie batter. Pour melted caramel over the top of the batter. Top with the remaining batter dropping by spoonful. Top batter with remaining 1/2 cup of pecans and 1 cup of milk chocolate chips.


Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 minute.


Serve with Ice Cream or a glass of milk, they are super rich!!!
