The days are getting shorter, the temperature is dropping, and colors are starting to appear on the mountains. All these signs point to the change in seasons from summer to fall.
Fall is my favorite season. I love the dip in temperature, perfect hoodie weather. I love the harvest time and seeing all your hard work pay off by a bounty of fruits and vegetable, even if I don’t grow them I can preserve them.
Canning, campfires, fall leaves, hunting season, spice in the air, cool morning and nights, and HOODIES!!
The autumnal equinox is the official start of Fall.
The fall decorations are up pulling the outdoors in.
I picked pheasant feathers, wheat, white sunflower, pine cones, scarecrow, a basket, pumpkins, and a festive sign. You can decide if you want to dress the whole house or just a concentrated space. Depending on your placement by decorating concentrated spaces you often have more impact. I chose my mantle because it can be see right as you enter the front door.
I will keep these decorations through Halloween and Thanksgiving, adding additional decor for the holidays.
