Golden Grahams have made a retro recipe for their cereal, that is so much like graham crackers you have to make Golden Graham’s S’mores Bars. Yummy!! Here is my recipe it is even gooier than the original recipe.

These are my twist on a family favorite. They have a little more chocolate and a little more gooey than the original recip. Yummy, gooey goodness.
Original recipe by Betty Crocker
8 cups Golden Grahams™ cereal 1 bag (16 oz) large Marshmallows 1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips (11.5 oz) 5 tablespoons butter or margarine 1/4 cup sugar 1 tablespoon water 1 teaspoon vanilla
New Recipe
1 bag (10.5 oz) miniature marshmallows (5 1/2 cups)
1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips (9 oz)
5 tablespoons butter or margarine
1/4 cup light corn syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 box (13 oz) Golden Grahams cereal (8 cups)
Grease 13x9-inch pan.
Measure cereal into large bowl.
Add sugar, butter, and water in a pot. Stir over a medium heat until begins to boil. Reduce to low and add all but two handfuls of marshmallows or 1 cup, along with the chocolate chips reserving 3/4 cup of chocolate chips.
Continue to heat remaining 4 1/2 cups marshmallows, the chocolate chips, butter, sugar and water over low heat, stirring occasionally, until completely melted. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Add the cereal into the marshmallow mixture and stir until evenly coated.
Stir in remaining 1 cup marshmallows. Pour into pan and add chocolate chips. Stir to disperse chips and press firmly in pan. Cool at least 1 hour until firm. For bars, cut into 4 rows by 3 rows. Store loosely covered container.
